Help Teens Cope With Mental Health Issues

On the basis of an outreach communication from Samantha Litton of DrugRehab.com, who was contacting us on behalf their sister site, Palmer Lake Recovery, we have become aware of an excellent resource about the mental health needs of teens.

According to information compiled by the National Institute of Mental Health, about 20% of all teens either have or are likely to have a serious mental illness between the ages of 13 and 18. This includes issues such as anxiety disorders, mood swings and behavioral problems.

This excellent and interactive resource is designed to educate and empower parents of teens, their family members and the teens themselves to become more aware and better informed. Here is a link to the resource:

We at the Center for the Improvement of Child Caring are pleased to make you aware of this excellent and carefully constructed resource guide and to urge you to make use of it!
